Aneka Jenis Kek Lapis, originally uploaded by ProjectRasso Fotoblog.

People in Malaysia practice an open house on festival day. Another unique feature of Sarawak’s open houses is the modern layered cakes or kek lapis moden. As for Sarawak’s famous “Kek Lapis”, the orders keeps on coming especially festive seasons. For those who haven’t tried one before, now is your time to place your orders. With its many designs made of colorful layers of delicious cake bits, the kek lapis is instantly recognizable as Sarawak-made. The cakes are usually accompanied with nice taste and flavor with beautiful fusion of colors in one single slice.

Today, I went shopping with my uncle at town to buy some stuff for making cake for this festive season. Not liked that picture. Just a simple one.
